Pig Wrestling at the Laramie County Fair Postponed

Poor Ground Conditions Cited for Needing to Reschedule

CHEYENNE, WY— August 8, 2024 — The Laramie County Fair regretfully announces the postponement of tonight’s Pig Wrestling event due to poor weather and unsafe venue conditions. The event that was scheduled to occur tonight at 7:00 pm at the LG Drilling Motorsports Park at Archer.

Attendees may be disappointed about tonight, but will not be disappointed long. Organizers are working to reschedule the event for a new date INSIDE the Event Center at Archer. A formal announcement on a new date and time will be made in the coming days. Teams that were already registered will be given the opportunity to retain their roster spot for the new date. Vacated team spots will be filled by teams that have been placed on the reserve list.

Watch teams of four attempt to wrestle a pig in a muddy pen! The night will be full of multiple age divisions competing from pee-wee to adult. Watch as they try to wrestle their pig into a bucket in the fastest time.

Entry Forms, Fees & Waivers must be turned into the Laramie County Fair Office ONLY

Please download and fill out the Entry Form and Waiver below. A waiver must be completed for each person on the team.

Teams will be reserved on a first come basis once forms and fees are submitted to the Laramie County Fair office.
